In celebration of the imminent iPhone 4 release, Gameloft and EA have dropped the price on many of their games. Several of these have never seen the $0.99 price point before. EA’s sale is for 48 hours as of yesterday and there is no word on how long Gameloft’s sale will last so if there’s a game on the list you want it is recommended you pick it up as soon as possible. Here’s the full list:
The highly acclaimed GTA clone Gangstar: West Coast Hustle has just received a 1.1.3 update that fixed many of the performance issues that people were experiencing including me, and the game should be running a lot smoother than it used to. While there are still some framerate issues, it’s nothing that iPhone 2G users aren’t used to.
Gangstar has also received a free version of the game so you don’t have to shell out that $6.99 based on reviews or impulse. Try out the free version and see for yourself what this game is all about, and while I absolutely loved the full version, a game like this isn’t for everyone. Head on over to the App Store straightaway because personally, I think this is an experience you shouldn’t be missing.
The pricing details and preview builds have been the biggest news of the iPhone world, and after a seemingly short wait, Gangstar: West Coast Hustle has been released. The game claims to offer an open world environment that takes place in Los Angeles, and along with the main storyline, there are other little side jobs you can do.
This is definitely one of the most ambitious titles on the App Store along with Real Racing, and it is rumored that Gangstar has cost over a million dollars to create. The game has been released for $6.99, and if you’re a fan of Grand Theft Auto, this is definitely something that’s worth a look. We’ll have a review up pretty soon, but until then, see how the game works in this gameplay video.
