EA News: Madden NFL sequel coming, Update on Reckless Racing

EA Mobile has let some information out regarding their games, including a sequel to Madden NFL and an update on the upcoming isometric racer Reckless Racing.  If you haven’t heard already, Deliverace will be published by EA Mobile after being developed by Pixelbite, and Kotaku actually has it playing on the iPad.

There’s still no release date for Deliverace, but some new screenshots have been posted (I’m assuming they’re iPad screenshots).  Stephen Totilo of Kotaku states that Deliverace is one of the best games he played while chatting with EA; yes, better than console games such as Dead Space 2.

As for Madden NFL, the sequel will be coming sometime this fall.  It will include the ability to draw your routes before the play snap, as well as bringing the GameFlow player management system from the console versions to the iPhone.  There’s really no other information regarding the game, but after seeing the poor NCAA Football 11, I don’t have too high of expectations for Madden.

With that said, we’re looking forward to whatever else EA has in store, and we’ll be posting some news up as they become available.

About Daniel

I have been an iPhone game addict ever since the NES emulator came out on the 1.1.4 iPhone 2G. After 2.0 and the App Store came out, my iPhone homescreen has never been the same. Other than writing reviews for App Store games, I play soccer/football, American football, volleyball, and golf. I love going to the beach and fishing on the pier. Some games not available on iPhone/iPod Touch that I truly love are the Call of Duty series, Guitar Hero III, Madden NFL 09, and PGR: Gotham Racing.
