‘FIFA World Cup’ Available in NZ [Update: Worldwide Release]

New Zealanders are usually the first to receive applications and games from the App Store, and FIFA World Cup has been released in that area.  That usually means a 8:00 – 9:00 PM PST release for the US, which means that we don’t have to wait much longer for this highly anticipated footie game from EA Mobile.

The game simulates the upcoming World Cup 2010 that will take place in South Africa this summer, and with many countries gearing up for the golden cup, this soccer game will definitely help those looking for something to play while waiting for the games.  Nationalism definitely starts going around the time of the World Cup, and the release of FIFA World Cup will have you playing your favorite country (Korea will win all the marbles this year).

FIFA World Cup is available for $6.99 or so and should be released in an hour.  For more information on the game, please be sure to check out our previous post.

About Daniel

I have been an iPhone game addict ever since the NES emulator came out on the 1.1.4 iPhone 2G. After 2.0 and the App Store came out, my iPhone homescreen has never been the same. Other than writing reviews for App Store games, I play soccer/football, American football, volleyball, and golf. I love going to the beach and fishing on the pier. Some games not available on iPhone/iPod Touch that I truly love are the Call of Duty series, Guitar Hero III, Madden NFL 09, and PGR: Gotham Racing.
