Friday Freebies: Dizzypad, Robot Rampage, and More

Today, Friday, seems to be one of the best Freebie Fridays we’ve seen in weeks, including a list of Dizzypad, Space Station Frontier, and B-Boy Beats.  Some more are free also, including Battle Bears: Zombies.  All these games are highly recommended, and it’s a list that hasn’t been as rich as this ever.

Dizzypad (Free only today): One of the more enjoyable casual games on the platform, NimbleBit did an incredible job with Dizzypad.  This is definitely one of my favorite casual games on the iPhone.  Check out our review for more information on the game.

Robot Rampage: A robot-smashing game in which you smash as many buildings and soldiers as possible.  There are things that attack you, and you must survive as long as possible.  While I found it a bit repetitive, it’s definitely worth a download for free.  This game is free through the weekend.

B-Boy Beats: A quirky, unique rhythm game that I thought was a bit difficult but totally unique.  Those looking for a challenge or even just some funky beats should check this title out.  It also has OpenFeint implemented, for those looking for some more achievement points.

Heavy Gunner 3D (Free only today): A fight against aliens, this shooter isn’t far away from hardcore action.  There could have been more variety, and the controls were somewhat difficult to getting used to.  But still, it’s a worthy offering on the App Store and one that should definitely be checked out.

Chromixa: A unique puzzle game that I thoroughly enjoyed.  It does start to get difficult toward the latter levels, but this is one puzzle you shouldn’t miss.

If I missed one, please let me know in the comments below!

About Daniel

I have been an iPhone game addict ever since the NES emulator came out on the 1.1.4 iPhone 2G. After 2.0 and the App Store came out, my iPhone homescreen has never been the same. Other than writing reviews for App Store games, I play soccer/football, American football, volleyball, and golf. I love going to the beach and fishing on the pier. Some games not available on iPhone/iPod Touch that I truly love are the Call of Duty series, Guitar Hero III, Madden NFL 09, and PGR: Gotham Racing.
