GDC 2010: Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction Screenshots

Gameloft has finally revealed their new and upcoming third-person shooter Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction, after they launched a teaser site just last week.  And today, they’ve released all new screenshots regarding the game, and it looks to become one of the best third-person shooters on the iPhone platform.

I, personally, am quite excited in Gameloft bringing yet another shooter into the App Store after releasing awesome third-person shooters such as Terminator Salvation.  According to Gameloft, Splinter Cell will be using a next evolution of the engine that was used to run NOVA, which makes the game look quite fantastic.

There will be 10 levels instituted into the final version of the game, and the environments will vary from night missions to desert shootouts.  I would assume that Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell will arrive on the iPhone sometime near April 13th, as that is the date the console versions will arrive.

About Daniel

I have been an iPhone game addict ever since the NES emulator came out on the 1.1.4 iPhone 2G. After 2.0 and the App Store came out, my iPhone homescreen has never been the same. Other than writing reviews for App Store games, I play soccer/football, American football, volleyball, and golf. I love going to the beach and fishing on the pier. Some games not available on iPhone/iPod Touch that I truly love are the Call of Duty series, Guitar Hero III, Madden NFL 09, and PGR: Gotham Racing.
