‘Need for Speed: Shift’ Now $6.99

In an interesting turn of events, EA Mobile has put their sim racer, Need for Speed: Shift, on sale after not even one week of the game being released.  While some may feel ripped off, I think it’s time for others to pick up the game at this price.  The original $9.99 price tag was difficult to swallow for most, and personally, in these times it may be a bit too much for a mobile game.

Either way, people who haven’t picked it up yet should think of considering it now.  While there are many other “awesome” games available, racing fans should be happy with their purchase.  Among the features include 20 different cars, WiFi and Bluetooth multiplayer, an extensive career mode, and more.  It should take an average person around 7 or 8 hours to complete the game, and content shouldn’t be a problem for most.

We should have our review up, but for now, check out the screenshots reproduced below.  It looks as if the $6.99 price tag will be permanent.
