Director’s Cut for ‘Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor’ Arrives, Free Mini-Game Now Available

Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor may just be one of the most unique iPhone games to date, putting you into the perspective of a spider by tackling bugs and finding secrets of the Bryce Manor.  As a platformer, this game truly shows the power the iPhone wields in terms of multitouch controls and console-type gameplay.  In our review, we unsurprisingly rewarded the game a Must Have as it is, again, one of the best.

A new version 1.1 update, codenamed Director’s Cut, adds another ten levels to the mix along with more secrets to find out and tons more to find out even more secrets.  But with more answers found, the more questions that are raised.  The update should be available worldwide now, and for those who haven’t bought the game yet, it is now available for $2.99.

Free Mini-Game: Spider: Hornet Smash

On another note, Tiger Style has brought us a free mini-game based on Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor, and your job is to tackle as many hornets as possible.  It features worldwide leaderboards to compete against, and you’ll be constantly fighting against wave after wave of hornets.  Spider: Hornet Smash also includes a lite version of Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor, similar to the lite version method we saw in A Quest of Knights Onrush.

About Daniel

I have been an iPhone game addict ever since the NES emulator came out on the 1.1.4 iPhone 2G. After 2.0 and the App Store came out, my iPhone homescreen has never been the same. Other than writing reviews for App Store games, I play soccer/football, American football, volleyball, and golf. I love going to the beach and fishing on the pier. Some games not available on iPhone/iPod Touch that I truly love are the Call of Duty series, Guitar Hero III, Madden NFL 09, and PGR: Gotham Racing.
