You asked for it and now you have it. Where has Activision been on the iPhone you ask? Well apparently, they’ve been working hard on Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies for the iPhone, and it definitely looks to be one of the more sophisticated-looking games on the App Store.
According to the description, this is the exact Zombie mode on the console versions of the game and it does include 4-player online multiplayer through WiFi and 2-player Bluetooth multiplayer mode. While the details are quite scarce, it seems as if new map will arrive as DLC instead of free updates, and as of now there is only one map available.
For $9.99, I’m not exactly sure if it’s going to be entirely worth it. It is Call of Duty on your iPhone, but again, we’ve seen big name titles totally crash and burn. There is no demo or lite version available either, making the choice even more difficult. We’ll let you know our impressions once the review copy arrives.
Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies is available now for $9.99.
