According to Gameloft, Real Soccer 2010 should arrive to the App Store towards the end of this month along with some *drum roll please* real-time online multiplayer. That’s right, Real Soccer 2010 will feature online multiplayer along with some improved graphics, better controls, and an overall better game experience.
Their first soccer game Real Soccer 2009 still offers one of the more premier experiences on the iPhone and iPod Touch, and its only real competitor is X2 Football. Personally, I thought X2 Football was on par with Real Soccer, and while the 2009 version did have its issues, it was still one of the best soccer experiences I have ever played on the iPhone.
Again, expect Real Soccer 2010 to hit this month with online multiplayer and an overall better game experience. I’m going to guess that the price will be around $6.99 or less. Here are some screenshots to satisfy your soccer needs while waiting.
