A press release on Take-Two Interactive’s website has said that GTA: Chinatown Wars has been confirmed for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The game should be released in the fall along with their PSP port of the game. This is definitely good news, but we all must hope it’s similar to the PSP game and not the DS version.
GTA: Chinatown Wars was first speculated to be coming to the App Store after disappointing sales on the DS and also when a fake Gameloft representative said that it was coming to the iPhone. Of course, GTA coming to the iPhone from Gameloft was proven false in a matter of hours, but iPhone users have been dying to see GTA shine on the App Store. We’ll have to see how this game plays out though, but for now, this is some exciting news.
