UPDATE: Alone At War is developed by Alcomi and published by Gameloft. Gameloft develops and publishes their own quality games, but they do help out game studios like Ludigames and Alcomi with marketing and press release. Please take note that this game is in no way developed by Gameloft.
Gameloft has been going wild with game releases recently: Asphalt 5, Earthworm Jim, Modern Combat, Shrek Kart, etc. Today, they announced on their Twitter account that they have a new game in the works. It definitely looks a lot different from most of their games, and it was a surprise to me.
We have no details on the game as of yet, but we will reveal them once we get them. From the screenshot, it’s pretty obvious that the game will feature “hand-drawn” graphics like that of Doodle Jump and Parachute Panic. I’m thinking that Alone At War will be another one of those low budget, $0.99 titles we are so used to seeing on the App Store. Seeing the highscores on the top and the simple graphics, it’s definitely a surprise that I wasn’t expecting at all.
