Sweetwater Defense, a beautiful 3D tower defense game, has gone down from its introductory price of $3.99 to $0.99.  The theme is pirate ships and monstrous sea creatures, similar to another tower defense game 7 Cities.  There is a lite version to try out before you buy, which is always good news.
