The highly anticipated Rolando 2 finally rolls into App Store. After a somewhat long delay, ngmoco:) has released it for the special price of, yes, $9.99. The original was well received by many, and this one doesn’t seems to be the same. The graphics are in 2.5D, a nice change compared to the original.
The game includes around 46 levels and 5 different places to explore. There are more “special” Rolandos with different abilities to add to the puzzle factor, plus some different environments like water. The controls are the same as the original version, and fans of the original will love this one. This game also utilizes the new Plus+ network by ngmoco:), a system that is somewhat like Xbox Live with push notifications, friends, and achievements. This system is also integrated in Star Defense. Finally! That extra day was killing me. It’s pretty much what I expected, and I’m loving it after only playing through the first intro island so far. There’s only a handful of games on the app store with this level of polish.
