Some news has surfaced that Tapulous has signed a deal with Universal Music Group. What this means for fans of the series is that you can expect around six premium track packs from the label by the end of the year. Some names were given on which artists we can expect: Eminem and the Black Eyed Peas.
The latest offering in premium track packs from Tapulous and coming from this new deal is Lady Gaga Revenge. You’ll find 14 tracks from her, including four remixes. As with all the other track packs, all the songs in this version can be imported into Tap Tap Revenge 2. The most interesting part of this version is that the boss tracks are playable in a horizontal mode, with four rails of notes coming down at you. Surprisingly, the theme is actually one of the best I’ve seen for Tap Tap songs.
How does paying for each song that you want in Tap Tap sound to you? With the next firmware arriving soon, Tapulous will be able to offer additional songs to you for a price. This business model will fit perfectly with the game, and should make it a great platform. The cited price is “around $0.50 each” for a song.
Expect Tap Tap Revenge 3 to come in autumn, and check out Lady Gaga Revenge now.
