New Writer, Andy: I’ll Be Helping Out with Reviews!

Hey people of, I’ll be around the site helping with reviews and maybe some news stories. So let me introduce myself, my name is Andy and over the past year I’ve fell in love with the iPhone/iPod touch platform. I first got my iPod touch(1g) around two years ago. At first I thought it was the coolest thing ever (with the touchscreen and all) but in the upcoming months it was going to change how I though of it dramatically. So as you know when the firmware update came out that included the App Store, I had to immediately download ย it because the games and concept really blew my mind. I thought it could be the next generation of gaming. After a long time, I finally got to check out the App Store for the first time. I was absolutely amazed with it and downloaded my first game a couple days later ( Enigmo).ย  So to this day I have a bunch of great apps and have started my own iPhone blog- There are so many great games, I couldn’t list them all. But some of the games/apps I’ve really enjoyed were: Zen Bound, Pocket God, 10 Balls 7 Cups, and Real Soccer 09. Those aren’t all my favorites, they’re just some I play regularly.

Other info about me: I love almost every sport and enjoy watching them. I’m one of those guys that can name the current point guard on a basketball team, or the starting QB on a football team. The sport I play the most is basketball. I sometimes spend hours practicing my shooting and dribbling.

So that’s just some basic info on me. I hope you like the stuff I write!

(Oh and that’s a picture of my iPod touch ๐Ÿ™‚ Looks beautiful, I know :D)

Editor’s Note: We’re pleased to welcome Andy to the team at No DPad.ย  Watch out for his reviews and opinions on games, coming up shortly!

  1. Apple iPod touch 8 GB (2nd Generation)
I have been a fan of Apple products for ages and they never let me down, great customer service, reliable hardware and good customer service.
The latest and the greatest from Apple is the iPod Touch, it’s like a laptop but much smaller and cheaper, what makes the iPod Touch awesome are all of the Apps that available out there.
I don’t look at my iPod Touch as just a media player anymore, it’s also the best most useful gadget i have even owned.
My Wife loves it as well and my kids won’t put the darn thing down thanks to all the Apps for Kids available out there.
Before the iPod Touch my Kids were playing their Nintendo DS Lite all the time and they have not touched the DS ever since i bought the Touch, it’s been months.
